Welcome aboard! So great to have you here on Women Health Matters Blog! My name is Isoken also known as Angela, a young woman filled with vision and God-given purpose. Growing up in a single parent family with my dad, I began to reflect on life and its meaning at a very young age. Backed with my strong faith in God to achieve the seemingly impossible, I developed a strong determination to make use of every gift within me to make a positive impact on my generation, while creating a lasting legacy for generations to come. Writing has always been one of my passions, therefore enjoying a place to share this gift is such an amazing privilege. For the longest time, I have been interested in women matters, and as a modeling agent at the age of 19, I found myself managing more women than I could possibly handle for my age and size (please laugh all you want) but I guess fate sometimes has a way of dishing us with things that we initially thought impossible. As the years grew by, I realized I was more interested in the lives of these women than I was about the services they rendered. This interest soon became the founding block of my first real passion, which is to support other women in their journey to accomplish the goals they set out to achieve. Many years down the road, I picked up a profession in Social Work Mental Health, and this further revealed an interest in health and wellness. So here I am with a passion to help women succeed with an educational background in health and wellness, hence the name of this blog: "Women Health Matters." I further introduce my Sweet Sixteen journey in my next post, which symbolizes a journey to regaining our youthful beauty look in a most natural way, free of chemicals and brand name products. Once again I'm grateful to all my readers for walking this wonderful journey with me as we look into health matters that women face everyday. I was diagnosed about 5 years ago of HIV and have lived taking ARV and thought of having Herbal medicine to cure this disease completely.
